Stunned Silence

It's nearly 4am.  I'm still up after watching WrestleMania XXX and, to be honest with you, I am stunned.

Cannot believe The Undertaker's undefeated streak ended tonight.

He's now 21-1 after losing to Brock Lesnar.

I guess this was his retirement and he did the job on his way out.

In my opinion, the streak should never have been cut.

And even if it did have to end, I don't think Lesnar was the right guy just because he is a part-timer. It should have been somebody with upward potential like Roman Reigns.

Or, funnily enough, Daniel Bryan who it was rumoured Undertaker did want to work this year's WrestleMania with.

With that said, it could have had a negative affect on Bryan's popularity what with being the person who ended something that was held precious by many fans.

If you think what I wrote above is hyperbole - just look at how the crowd reacted when Lesnar won.

The silence was loud!

It was one of those moments. The entire audience just sat there stunned taking it in before realisation dawned.

Yes, I thought it was a bad call but the reaction was a moment I'll never forget.

Another moment I won't forget is Daniel Bryan winning the WWE title at the end.

It was a  good way to end the show. It would have been better if Bryan had beaten the champion, Randy Orton rather than the third man in the match, Batista. I guess it allows Orton to claim he didn't lose the match and their feud will continue for a little while longer.

Oh, and apparently there's a plan to reform Evolution. I hope this happens.

Now on to tomorrow night's episode of Raw, where I am predicting we'll see the WWE debut of Sting.
