A Weird Coincidence

I was talking with my four-year old nephew and he was asking me about the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. He wanted to know which of the two movies the character had appeared in.

I told him the first.

'Who's the baddie in Ghostbusters II, then?'

'The painting.'

'Ah, yes. And what about Ghostbusters III?'

'There isn't a Ghostbusters III.'

'Yes, there is.'

'No, there isn't/'

'They're going to make it then!'

'No, they aren't!!'

Anyway, late last night, I found out that Harold Ramis - who was a major part of the franchise both creatively and on screen playing the role of Egon - passed away.

What a spooky coincidence, eh?

They really cannot make a third movie now. Bill Murray was never going to be involved. It just wouldn't seem right without Ramis' involvement as well.
