End Of Season

The National Football League regular season ends tonight and I tell you what, I'm going to miss it a whole lot more than I have in years gone past.

The reason behind this feeling is simple. NFL Game Pass.

This year, I decided to purchase a subscription to watch NFL games online. It truly was one of the best things I have done as an American football fan as it was a great accompaniment to Sky Sports and Channel 4's coverage of the league. I watched more live football games this year than I have ever done in all the years I've followed the sport.

I remember laughing at myself on the first Sunday of the season. There I was with the XBox streaming Sky Sports to my bedroom television via Windows Media Center and with a laptop beside me with four live games playing.

Five live games!

And when that was over, it was back to doing the same thing for the games that followed.

Eventually, it became the norm and I got used to it.

I will not think twice about purchasing Game Pass next year. It's a now a must have for yours truly.

With that said, my subscription isn't over.

I still get to watch NFL Network and have access to archived games (post-season games aren't live due to Sky having exclusive live television rights) so will still make good use of it until it runs out.

Now all I have to do is work out the games I'll be watching tonight.
