NFL At Wembley For 3 Games In 2014

The National Football League have announced that there will be three regular season games played at Wembley Stadium next year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were already coming over for one of their home games. The other two fixtures will see the Atlanta Falcons and the Oakland Raiders use London as their home.

The road teams (they're all road teams!) for each game will be announced at a later date.

When they announced two games for 2013, talk of a third game followed. I didn't think it would happen.

How wrong was I?

I guess the next idea to come from the NFL is to feature four International Series games with one in September, another in October and so on.

This will tie up a Wembley game for every month of the regular season (not counting the final week of the season that falls on the first week of January).

I have written it before and will do again - I like the idea of International Series games. However, I am concerned with over-saturation of the market.
