I watched the trailer to the RoboCop remake the other day.
When I first heard there was going to be a 21st Century version of the movie, I was in two minds. I liked the original but knew that it has now become dated. A remake in this day and age, what with the amount of technology available to filmmakers, sounded appealing.
So, after seeing the trailer - all I can say is so far so good.
I think I'll like it.
I was surprised with the cast, too.
Samuel L Jackson, Michael Keaton (where has he been?) and Gary Oldman are some of the faces I recognised in it.
It seems that they kept the main part of the story by having Alex Murphy being a policeman hurt whilst on duty and then having his body placed inside the robotic crime fighting device.
That's really all I took from the clip.
It's out in February 2014.
