Cory Monteith

I don't really know whether I was surprised when I read that Cory Monteith had died over the weekend.

I was aware that the actor had entered a rehabilitation facility earlier this year and his absence from the last few episodes of the most recent season of Glee was evident to that.

A shame would be the right term to use because that's what this is.

It's a shame for him and everybody he knew.

This time last year, I was wondering how they would continue with Glee following the way the season ended with Monteith's character - Finn -  joining the armed forces and, the character's girlfriend,  Rachel heading to New York.

It's quite the irony that I am now pondering how they are going to move on with the show now.

That's the least of their worries right now, though.
