The Hodgson Defence

Liverpool's terrible run of form under manager, Roy Hodgson, has prompted a lot of arguments from football fans.

Some claim that Hodgson is the right man for the job and argue that the poor results are due to the team that Hodgson inherited.

The blame - they feel - should rest on Rafa Benitez's shoulders.

These people should back their findings up and prove how well Fulham are doing, too. After all - they were the team that Hodgson left to set up shop in Liverpool.

At the time of writing, Fulham are in eighteenth place.

Relegation zone.

I rest my case.
