Reality TV

In the world of professional wrestling it is often hard to distinquish reality from fiction. The whole concept of wrestling is to fool the audience into believing what they see is real.

The WWE will be attempting this in a subtle way tonight at Saturday Night's Main Event.

A few months ago, Randy Orton was suspended for 60 days after an undisclosed incident during Wrestlemania weekend. This scenario was the tip of a rather large iceberg for the management of the WWE. Orton had issues and they had let them go by in the hope he would out grow them.

Many women have gone on record as to saying how he would introduce himself to them and if they weren't intrested in his come on's that he would call them 'c-nts' and one former wrestling performer revealed how Orton put his own excretement in her bag after his advances towards her failed.

Sick huh? Well, if that didn't get him in as much trouble I would only like to guess what the undisclosed incident was. It resulted in him having the suspension and he also had to seek professional help in order to overcome this.

He returned last month and is now set to be rewarded for his attitude by being put into a major storyline with Hulk Hogan. But, that's not all! Orton will be introducing himself to Hogan's daughter in the first segment of tonight's show and this will lead to the feud starting.

The WWE know that there will be a few smart fans aware of the issues around Orton and see that this storyline will hit a nerve. There just seems to be something morally wrong in this whole storyline as it sends out a wrong message. Orton shouldn't be playing off his real life problems in an angle that will ultimately give him a career match against the legendary Hulk Hogan.
