I have made the decision to give up attempting to get through to the Irish Open.
It was a good feeling winning the feeders to get to the finals but I have realised that there are just far too many better players in it than myself.
I don't even know what would have happened if I had qualified. Being able to get to Dublin would have been even more of a hurdle for me to overcome.
I'm not ruling out qualifying for other tournaments but the Irish Open will not have my name on its list of entrants this easter. I'll be watching that final table live on Sky Sports on April 15th from the comfort of my living room.
