As I have written many times over the near twenty years I have been writing on this blog, September is one of my favourite months of the year. It could be argued it's #1 in my personal Top 12 of months.
September of 2025 wasn't a good one, however.
With that said - I rode on, doing the things that have been parts of my Septembers for years.
I watched the NFL and NCAA College Football every week, I played NFL Fantasy football (and done poorly at it, so kept to that routine as well!), have began tackling the Booker Prize shortlist, tried out new things from supermarkets and takeaways (for the latter, you'll have to check back another time!).
So, yes - even though it was an unusual September - I kept to the routine.
And made it to the other side.
