WrestleMania 43 Set For Saudi Arabia

On Friday morning, I published a post titled WrestleMania 43 Reportedly Set For Saudi Arabia because, at the time, there were reports suggesting the possibility of World Wrestling Entertainment's biggest event on its calendar taking place overseas for the first time.

Those reports turned out accurate when WWE confirmed everything at a press conference later that day.

No actual date for the event was given other than it'll be in 2027. The country's capital of Riyadh will be the host city.

The news has understandably angered a lot of fans. The announcement garnered suggestions of WWE selling out from those on social media. There were also chants heckling the decision during Friday night's Smackdown airing.
