I (Finally) Try A McDonald's Big Arch

I finally bought myself a McDonald's Big Arch.

I had been planning to buy the new burger from the fast food chain for over a week, but delayed deliveries and other things got in the way.

All that is now in the past, however. I have now tried it. Finally.

Okay, so - time to do what I always do with these posts. I shall head to the website and write down exactly how the burger is described by the company.

McDonald's states that the Big Arch is made up of 'two 100% beef patties, white cheddar cheese slices, crispy and silvered onions, lettuce, pickles and the Big Arch sauce delivering that distinctive McDonald's taste all in a poppy and sesame seed bun.'

The website obviously shows a perfect looking Big Arch. I won't show you that. Here's how mine looked upon opening the box:

It was a mess. A lovely mess, but a mess nonetheless.

It's very similar to a Big Mac. However, with the patties being bigger, I suppose a better description would be to state that it's reminiscent of the Giant Big Mac that came out for a spell a few years ago.

I enjoyed the Big Arch. But, I couldn't finish it. I left a very small bit. I was too full by the end of the meal. 

As for the 'will you buy one again?' question: I suppose the best answer I can give is - not with this run. I'll possibly buy one if they bring it back in a year or so. 

I came away full and happy for finally getting my hands on one. I consider that a win, even if I couldn't finish it off in time.
