If you read yesterday's post, you'll be aware that I was rooting for Crystal Palace to do what I considered unlikely and win the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

One goal. 

That's all it took for everything to be thrown out the window. 

Even after putting the post up, I went over to the betting websites to see Palace's odds. They were 31/10.

Still, I didn't give them a chance. I closed the browser without placing a bet.

I don't regret it. I wouldn't have bet much even if I had.

It was a great result.
