The biggest storyline of the three-day event focused on Shedeur Sanders. He was touted as a potential first round selection. However, the former Colorado quarterback was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round.
I read a lot of criticism against the NFL teams passing up on Sanders from Thursday through to yesterday. Some kind of summed it up to racism.
I don't think it could be that. There has to be another reason - or reasons - why Sanders fell so low.
Sanders, the son of NFL legend: Deion Sanders, had his own draft room built into home for the weekend. i The walls were emblazoned with the word 'Legendary',
There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. NFL GMs and team owners might agree with that notion.
