Those SD Breaks

It's Saturday afternoon and I still haven't watched last night's WWE Smackdown.

The episode aired live from the O2 Arena in London and I was going to catch it unfold on Netflix. However, I've grown to absolutely despise live Smackdowns on the streaming platform.

When the episodes go to break, us Europeans get to watch filler. It's of wrestlers doing their poses for a few minutes until they return from the break. It is done for Saturday Night's Main Event on YouTube as well.

The annoying part about the Smackdowns is the programme aired on a tape delay in the US (when it's filmed outside of the Americas) so there's no reason for break stops. Those could be edited in post-taping. It has been done in the past.

Anyway, after two weeks of sitting through those breaks - and, to be frank: crappy editions of Smackdown - I've decided enough was enough.

I'd watch the following day.

But even that plan isn't going to, well.. plan.
