Today it's George Foreman.
A legend of boxing.
Everyone will point to The Rumble in the Jungle. I'll point myself - go watch the film When We Were Kings. You'll thank me later.
Me? Well, my personal favourite memory of George Foreman is the amazing comeback - at the age of forty-five - when he knocked out Michael Moorer to become world champion once again.
FORTY-FIVE!
Incredible.
I'm biased, though. It has to be because I was alive during that period in Foreman's career. My experiences from his earlier days is from books and tape.
I'll always recall seeing the PPV poster for that Moorer fight. It was in one of the wrestling magazines I owned. I did not give Foreman a chance of winning. I wasn't the only one.
He shocked the world that night.
I repeat: A legend.
