The UK Gets Crappy Lemons From The NFL

The NFL revealed the three teams which be the designated home teams when the league returns to London during the 2025 regular season.

They'll be Jacksonville - the team which always has a home game in the capital's Wembley Stadium. As well as the Jags, the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will give up a home game.

For the latter two teams, they'll be competing on the field at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Upon seeing those teams, I let out a huge groan.

All three had losing records in 2024. It feels like the National Football League is giving the UK the scraps while it looks to give other foreign countries bigger teams.

I'm intrigued to see how right I am.

To highlight my point, here's some food for thought: next year's London teams had a combined win-loss record of 12-39 during the 2024 season.

To try and make lemonade out of these crappy lemons, parity might mean the teams will have a better 2025.
