WWE 'surprised' Paul 'Triple H' Levesque yesterday by announcing the Chief Content Officer will be the headline inductee in its Hall of Fame during WrestleMania Week.
I don't consider the WWE Hall of Fame anything other than a marketing tool. Considering that opinion, Triple H is absolutely worthy of being entered in as a solo act (he was inducted as part of the D-Generation X faction in 2019).
Also - I believe this is kind of a fitting year for Levesque to be inducted this year ahead of any other year. That's because, in a few months from now, it'll be the thirtieth anniversary of his arrival into the company as Hunter Hearst Helmsley - a Greenwich aristocrat.
Levesque has done an incredible job overlooking WWE after taking the reins from Vince McMahon.
It makes you wonder, though. All those Hall of Fames under Vince McMahon's watch and not one person decided to pull a 'surprise' induction announcement on the boss?
