I was late catching the Malcolm in the Middle train.
The series had ended long before I started watching it. Maybe that's a good thing because I was able to watch almost every episode in order when it made its way to the Channel 5 family of channels sometime in the 2010s (if not a little earlier).
Either way, I became a fan of the sitcom about a family but with the focus on the middle (ish) child - Malcolm. Or that's how it was meant to go - all of the family members ended up in key storylines during the run.
The reason why I'm going on about Malcolm in the Middle today is because, this past Friday, Disney Plus announced that it is bringing the series back.
Frankie Muniz (Malcolm), Bryan Cranston (Malcolm's Dad, Hal) and Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm's Mother, Lois) are all confirmed for the reunion.
I hope they're able to bring back the other family members.
It's quite fitting to see this announced considering next year will be the 25th Anniversary of the series hitting the screen.
I will certainly check it out.
