The Breaks

I don't seem to be catching good breaks with package deliveries from Royal Mail.

The most recent disaster came within the last hour or so. I was expecting a delivery of something I have bought my godson for Christmas.

Royal Mail emailed to say the item would be delivered today. This actually contradicted an email they sent me yesterday claiming it would be delivered on Thursday. Anyway, I heard the postman had arrived, so went down to collect the letters and the package only to find two letters and no package.

It didn't bother me because I assumed the initial email claiming the package would arrive on Thursday was the correct mail and the one from today was an accident.

A few minutes later, I received a notification stating the package had been delivered. Back down I went. No package.

I opened the website to look at the tracking and there was a photograph of my postman about to place the package through the letterbox.

However, and this is a gigantic HOWEVER, the photo was of a package about to go through somebody else's door.
