Parlay Pandemonium Follow-Up

In an update to yesterday's post, the Chicago Bears ended up firing Head Coach - Matt Eberflus - following his botched call (or rather lack-thereof a call) in the closing moments of Thursday's game against the Detroit Lion.

I noted, in the aforementioned post, that the game not going over the total of 48.5 points was the only selection, out of six, which lost in a parlay contest my friend had entered using my selections.

The game ended up 23-20 in favour of Lions. The Bears could have sent it into overtime by scoring a field goal. However, no timeout was called. 

Abysmal clock management by all. But - the buck stops with the head coach.

The Bears are currently at 4-8 in 2024.
