Predicting The TNF Week 2 Winners (2023)

I will be passing on both pointspread and totals plays that have been recommended by my spreadsheet for tonight's Thursday Night Football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and their visitors - the Minnesota Vikings.

The reason why is because there is nothing in the database of results, dating back to 1995, to strengthen taking either spread or total.

For what it's worth, the spreadsheet has selected the Eagles to win by six and for the total number of points to be fifty.

The lines are: Minnesota +7 and Over 49.

Checking in with my database, I see that:

• The Minnesota Vikings are 5-8 against the spread against the Eagles
• They are 3-6 when cast as the underdogs
• Vikes are also 2-6 against the spread when the games have been played in Philly
• The Over-Under is 5-8 overall
• The Over-Under is 2-6 in Philadelphia

This means that, after two weeks, the spreadsheet and database are still at odds by not having a selection that both parties agrees with.
