In A Discomfort Zone

It has been almost a month since I wrote about a heatwave the UK was in the midst of. I was hoping that would have been the last time I covered extreme summer weather at least for another year. However - here I am in yet another heatwave.

This one is a lot worse, in my opinion.

I woke up a little over an hour ago desperate for water. After getting something to cool me down, I've returned to my bedroom and am finding it difficult to fall back asleep because of how warm the air is up here.

I am such a wuss when it comes to summer heat, but this really is far, far out of my comfort zone. 

Roll on Tuesday when it's meant to have rain...
