My second Super Bowl bet went down in flames in the early hours of this morning.
If you've read the first post of the year, I predicted that the Super Bowl teams would be Green Bay and Indianapolis.
The latter failed to make it to the post-season. The former lost to the San Francisco 49ers last night.
Better luck next year. I guess.
Last night did have its positive, however. As mentioned earlier this week, I wanted the Cincinnati Bengals to beat the Tennessee Titans. They did in what turned out to be a really good game.
The Bengals were lucky to get past the Titans last night. Their opponents for next week's conference championship game will be decided when the Chiefs take on the Bills.
I don't want to write the Bengals off. But. I think it's close to safe to presume whichever team gets the W today, they'll be the AFC representative on February 13.
