With nine weeks completed in the NFL's 2021 season, the ongoing drama of how poorly my betting spreadsheet has performed in picking a side and total in Thursday Night Football continues.
As of today, before a ball is kicked in week 10, the spreadsheet has a win-loss of 6-9. The additional 0-2 was added last week when my two plays for the Jets versus Colts game failed.
For tonight, it has the Baltimore Ravens winning by 8 points and for the game to have forty-seven points.
With the Ravens favoured by 7.5 points and the total at 46.5 as of the time of writing, there is half-a-point in it on both recommended plays.
Here's the recent history of this fixture.
There isn't anything that can strongly make a case for the plays that my spreadsheet has suggested. But, to try to make a case, it has:
- The Ravens are 4-2 against the spread when playing as favourites
- They're 2-1 when playing as favourites in Miami
- The Over-Under is 7-7 in the 14 meetings
- In Miami, the Over-Under is 4-6
