A Lost Boys Remake Is In Pre-Production

I’ve just woken up and read something that is in the news.

Warner Brothers is remaking The Lost Boys.

Oh my, WHY!? 

The original is a classic and does not need the remake treatment. I am totally against this idea.

I had read, years ago, that there was a plan to do a Lost Boys television series. If I recall correctly, it was going to have anthology seasons in which the vampires would terrorise different decades each season. It seemed like a neat concept. I don’t know what became of that plan.

As for the current Lost Boys plan - there is a saying that goes like this: if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. 

The Lost Boys - as an original film and story - absolutely does not need fixing.
