Jabbed 2

I have just returned home from having my second COVID jab.

Just like my first experience in April, it was a breeze despite all the anxious build up I put on myself.

My appointment was set for 8:30AM. I had to queue outside the building before it opened, but as soon as the doors were unlocked everything flew by.

I was jabbed earlier than scheduled. Each member of staff I've came across at the centre has been wonderful. The same cannot be said of one person I dealt with at the vaccination booking telephone centre, but that’s a story for another day. I’m only dealing with the positives today.

Just before it was time to go (after my fifteen minute post-vaccination wait), one of the nurses offered the seated line I was in a sticker. I felt like I was a kid all over again after a visit to the dentist…

Vaccination Sticker

…how could I turn down the offer of a sticker? I sure deserved it for being a brave boy!
