As a gambler, who likes to try and keep up to date with sports betting news from overseas, I am still finding it hard to adjust to watching Las Vegas Raiders games NFL games on my TV.
This past weekend, I saw the Raiders beat the current Super Bowl champs - the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a great result. However, one glaring thing I noticed while watching the game was that, every time the commentators mentioned the Raiders' new city, I thought they were talking about gambling rather than addressing the team on the field.
My head is wired to thinking that - whenever 'Las Vegas' is mentioned while watching any form of sport - the people are referring to the opinion of the Vegas oddsmakers.
I'm sure I'll get used to it. Eventually. For now, I'll just have to ride it out.
