A Tribute To Jack

Here's something that I thought was really cool when I was looking at the mail that came through the letterbox last week.

Jack Charlton Royal Mail Tribute

When Royal Mail stamped the letter at its Chester and North Wales office, it did so with a special Jack Charlton tribute.

It came in the way of a printed football with Charlton's name above it. In the spot below the ball is '1935-2020'.

Charlton passed away last month. I wrote a little bit about him, and a period when he managed the Irish football team at the Italia '90 World Cup, in this post.

As for the tribute from the sorting office - very nice.
