Pogo Comes Close

In yesterday's post, I did an 'In A Name' special for Royal Ascot by picking three horses that could be attributed to professional wrestling.

Of the three horses, one came close.

Pogo - who I chose because his name was similar to the Japanese pro wrestler, Mr Pogo - came third in the Royal Hunt Cup.

I had all three horses in a patent bet. I spent £3.50 and had £1.50 back.

Two pound down.

I've placed bets on a couple of horses on today's race card. However, I've backed horses that a friend of mine has picked out.
