Earlier this week, I told a friend of mine that the Indianapolis Colts might not make the Super Bowl because the team has a lot of mountains to climb to raise the Lombardi Trophy.
Last night saw them overcome the first.
They defeated the Houston Texans by a score of 21-7.
Starting off to a 21-0 lead, the game was - in a way - eventually won by the Colts defence considering they held the Texans off for all of the first half and only allowed their opponents to score one TD. Indy did not score in the second half. This was kind of overlooked by the TV analysts I watched yesterday.
Maybe it's me overlooking it.
The next mountain is in Kansas City next Saturday.
I'm more worried about this game than I was for yesterday's.
Fingers crossed.
