I lost on my NFL bets last night. It was the first time I've been down on American football betting this season, so I am still up for the year.
It could have been a lot worse, though.
When I was about to check out for the night, I looked at the line for the Kansas City Chiefs versus New England Patriots game. I had a feeling the Pats would win. I didn't like the line.
The bookies had the home team as -3.5 favourites. As I said, I felt they'd win, but was not confident in them covering the extra half a point.
I left it and went to bed.
Well, for those who know - I dodged another loss didn't I?
The final score was 43-40 to the Patriots.
That 0.5 was important after all!
