Too Late

How annoying is this?

I preordered a football annual a few weeks ago. Then - while getting ready for the weekend of football yesterday morning - I recalled that the book had still to arrive. I checked the Amazon account to find out that the book's release date was August 4th.

Today.

That's far too late for me!

Good job I noticed. I cancelled the order. That's one less thing to read this year. It might prove costly in the end, but we'll see how the football betting goes before I make any sort of judgment there.
