I grow used to watching American football every week from September onwards and then, as soon as the Vince Lombardi Trophy is presented, I usually begin to clamour for the next season.
It hasn't been as intense this year, if I'm to be honest. I've spent my free time watching new TV series' that I had planned to watch once the season was over, read a book that I had put off until this week and other things.
Another distraction is taking place as I write this. I'm currently watching New Japan's New Beginning in Osaka event.
September can wait.
