A certain sports betting website has been running a competition this afternoon where a random account is selected and £10,000 is added to it. It is then up to the customer to either place a bet using part of the money or withdraw it. If they do neither - or are unaware the money is in the account - the money is removed and placed into a new account with an added £1,000 on top.
This process will continue until the money has been successfully claimed using the two methods I mentioned above. However, it isn't the end. For now.
The game is running all the way until 9PM this evening, so once the money is claimed, another account gets £10,000 added to it and so on.
I don't want to give this company free publicity on this blog, but for those of you wondering which one it is - it's the Irish one that rhymes with Saddy Sour.
