Testing My American Football Betting System On CFL Football: Week 11 2015

After a great week 9, it was only fitting that week 10 was a disaster.

The FPT System went 1-3 in pointspread projections. If you think that's bad, the totals result told an even more abysmal story as they went 0-4.

The system is now 43-30 for the year with the best performance being the pointspread predictions. It's currently 27-11.

Here are this week's picks.

BC Lions @ Montreal
The system has Montreal winning by five and the total number of points to be 40. The line has been set at Montreal by 5, so there's no play there. The total is set at 47.5.

Recommended play:
Under 47.5

Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan will win by one-point, if the prediction is true. There will also be 57 points. The line is Saskatchewan -3.5, so it's calling for an underdog cover. The total has been chalked up at 52.

Recommended plays:
Winnipeg +3.5
Over 52

Toronto @ Hamilton
The line has been set with Hamilton by 7. The projection here has the team winning by 8. The total number of points projected is 55. This is very close to the actual line of 54.5.

Recommended plays:
Hamilton -7
Over 54.5

Edmonton @ Calgary
The system is predicting a tie. As is the case with draws, the play here is to back the underdog (take the points). The total number of points predicted by the system is 49. Once again, the number is very close to the actual line as the current line is set at 49.5 total points.

Recommended plays:
Edmonton +5.5
Under 49.5
