In an ironic twist, this past season was the first time I didn't bet on Real Madrid to win the Champions League.
I have been betting on the Spanish team to win the tournament for many, many years and the one time I left them out they went on and won it!
They defeated Atletico Madrid 4-1 in extra-time.
Moment of the night goes to Gareth Bale, when he scored the goal that more or less sealed victory for the club.
Yes, I am a biased Cardiffian. Prove me wrong, though.
