Want To Know Who Won The 2013/14 Premier League Season Handicap Bet? Here's My Working Out

It's that time of the year again.

As some of you know, I like having a punt on the Season Handicap bets that the bookmakers throw out just before the season starts.

I have a little system. It doesn't work that well but it's something I enjoy doing for fun.

Anyway, with the 2013/14 season now in the books - I thought I would dust off the spreadsheets from last summer and work out which teams finished where.

This post is dedicated to the Premier League season handicap table, I have the rest of the leagues added up and ready to post over at TaylorKnowsBets.com. (update - they are now posted. Read them via this link)

A few quick notes:
- The points in parenthesis are those that were given by the bookmaker. I have posted them next to each team as they might differ from betting office to betting office.
- If teams are tied on points, I rank them based on goal difference.

With that out of the way, here's how the 2013/14 Premier League Season Handicap table looks:

  1. Liverpool (16) 100pts
  2. Everton (26) 98pts
  3. Crystal Palace (50) 95pts
  4. Southampton (34) 90pts
  5. Stoke (39) 89pts
  6. Arsenal (8) 87pts
  7. Man City (0) 86pts
  8. Chelsea (1) 83pts
  9. Tottenham (14) 83pts
  10. Hull (46) 83pts
