Star Wars Episode VII Cast Announced

The big news coming out of the announcement of the cast list of the new Star Wars movie is that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels are all coming back.

The announcement was posted on the official Star Wars website yesterday, so rumour and gossip can now be put to rest.

Other names on the list are: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow.

Boyega and Ridley are both British, so it's good to see some Brits playing roles like we saw in the original and prequel trilogies.

I read an article on The Mirror's website. In a question that asked whether I was excited to see British talent in the line-up, I chose the option that I was 'just glad the old cast are coming back'.

It got 100% from all the voters. I'm evidently not the only one glad that they're reprising their roles.
