A Cardiff Great Escape?

Time is running out for Cardiff City in their attempt to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The Bluebirds lost 3-6 to Liverpool yesterday. A result that saw them drop a place in the division. They're now 19th.

The only positive I can draw from looking at the upcoming fixtures is that, on paper, they do have winable games.

Huge emphasis should be directed to the term 'on paper'.

The last game of the season intrigues me.

I truly hope Chelsea tie up the league before the final day. They travel to Cardiff City Stadium in what could be a do-or-die scenario for City.

If Chelsea have tied up the league before then - and with a bit of luck, they'll still be in the Champions' League - Cardiff could get at least a draw.

Wishful thinking, I know.
