The 'Where will Pep Guardiola manage next?' saga ended yesterday when it was announced that the former Barcelona coach will be at the helm of Bayern Munich from July 1st.
Chelsea and Manchester City were apparently throwing big money at the Spaniard but he opted to take control of the German side.
I have a feeling why he decided to steer clear of the Premier League for now.
Pure speculation on my part but I think Guardiola's ultimate goal is to end up as Manchester United boss.
With Sir Alex Ferguson still a number of years away from retirement, I get the feeling that Guardiola is the heir apparent and the Munich job is something to do until the Manchester United job becomes available.
