The partnership lasted twenty-two years and I've been buying videos, DVDs and Blu-rays from them since day one so it truly is the end of an era.
It shouldn't have come as a shock, though.
There was a situation a number of months ago where the company had stopped advertising upcoming titles for sale only for them to reappear on the website.
Further evidence to prove that a deal was coming to a close was highlighted when they were recently selling off DVDs in a stock clearance sale and emphasising that once the films were gone, they would be gone for good.
I'm unsure what this means for the future. WWE would be foolish to end a partnership with a distributor so there must be something set up for January 1st 2013 and beyond.
Silver Vision were a class act. They gave incredible customer service so whoever takes over has large shoes to fill.

After 22 years of dedicating Silver Vision exclusively to WWE, the WWE and Clear Vision Ltd will part company on the 31st December 2012. Silvervision.co.uk (owned by Clear Vision Ltd) will continue to sell WWE DVDs, Blu-rays and WWE films after this date while stocks last, but we will not be able to offer new releases for sale on our site. SummerSlam 2012 and nWo: The Revolution will be the last new WWE releases we will be producing ourselves.
Clear Vision and its staff are saddened by this news as we have worked very hard over the years to bring the best possible service to all WWE fans and we would like to thank you all for your continued support over the years.
