Why Brock Didn't Beat Up Shawn Michaels Last Night

After watching last night's WWE Raw, I'm guessing a lot of people are wondering why Brock Lesnar didn't beat up Shawn Michaels in their segment on the show.

It could have been newsworthy seeing Michaels beaten up in his hometown - San Antonio, Texas - by the man who is set to face Michaels' best friend - Triple H - at SummerSlam in two weeks.

It wouldn't have made sense.Beatdowns like this are made as a way for the act to be avenged later down the road.

As Shawn Michaels is retired, and seems quite content at this life, a Brock Lesnar .vs. Shawn Michaels bout is as likely as man walking on Mars in the next year.

There's also the 'Yeah, but Triple H can get revenge on HBK's behalf' argument.

This only works if Triple H is going to win in his match at SummerSlam. Last night was a telling sign that Lesnar will walk away as the victor on August 19th.

And that makes perfect sense to me.
