As I noted a few weeks ago, I've been watching old episodes of Home & Away on Five Star due to the channel taking five weeks off so as to let the Australian episodes be a few weeks further apart from the UK.
I have had the show on to specifically see the years I didn't watch the show (2000-2007) and it's easy to see why I went off it back then.
Judging the few installments I have seen, the storylines and characters weren't as good as they were in the first ten years of its existence.
I started watching it again in the latter part of the 2000's. It's so much better than this 2001-2005 period that is currently being rebroadcast.
The regular series is due to return in two weeks.
Phew.
