It is 9:30pm on Thursday evening as I am typing this. Cardiff City are 2-0 down to West Ham United in the Championship play-offs and I've decided to turn the television off.
I am not a loyal Cardiff City supporter.
But I'd like to see them win.
As I was watching the game, it dawned on me - I have seen Cardiff lose almost every time I've seen them play on the telly.
I am a bad omen for them so I hope I've done them a favour by turning away.
Crazy? Yes.
In the twenty-six years since the play-off concept was adopted, no team with a 2-0 deficit from the first leg has turned things around in the next.
Cardiff City will need my lack of viewing more than ever!
