I haven't placed a bet on football in a number of weeks and don't intend to until the summer.
That's the plan, anyway.
However, what I am doing is keeping an eye on the league tables to see how my season bets are doing. I am especially keen to see how the season handicap Lucky 63 bet is coming along.
It's too early to count my chickens but Norwich (+45) are doing better than expected in the Premier League. When placing the bet, I had a choice of Swansea City or Norwich and opted for the Canaries because they had one point more than the Swans. I made the right pick. So far.
Blackpool (+14) are picking up points in the Championship but gave up a win in the ninetieth minute last night.
Exeter (+23) in League One is not going to be a winning selection. They are far down that table. The same goes for Accrington Stanley (+22) in League Two.
I also have Germany to be the winners of the European Championships as the fifth selection in the bet.
