'MATTHEW' Speaks

Following on from yesterday's post - where I was critical of Matt Hardy for his substance abuse issues - I'm going to paste something Matt posted on YouTube in response to someones recommendation that he learn from his car crash and subsequent firing. It makes for some worrying reading both on and under the surface:

When the side windows glass smashed into my face, arms, & neck, some of the blood that did felt almost angelic. I went from being afraid to die to feeling like I was almost being reborn with some sort of an ABSOLUTE PURE LIFE-FORCE. It was the most amazing thing I've every experience, I felt like I'd just received the blood of an angel flowing inside me-I know this sounds crazy! Due to these, I only have urges to help people. And miraculously, all my vices are gone.

MATTHEW

When he was having his 'issues' in the past, he would post videos on YouTube claiming to be 'MATTHEW' and emphasise the name was written in 'all caps'. This alter-ego became the excuse for his apparent substance problem. He turned it into a wink-wink to his fans making it seem like he wasn't really messed up. He eventually stopped doing the 'MATTHEW' gimmick but it seems to be back now that his issues have became public once again.

I think the saying 'you can run, but you can't hide' is appropriate here. Him hiding the real issue from the fans in this blatant way will catch up with him eventually. It's disgraceful how he is using his social media platform to cover up his personal problems from his followers.

Reading his comments above are enough of a sign that the guy needs to sort himself out. And when I say 'this guy' I mean MATTHEW, Matthew, Matt or any other name he feels compelled to hide behind.
