Whilst visiting IMDB.com the other day, I noticed that the on again off again 21 Jump Street movie is definitely on again as it is set to hit cinemas next spring.
I loved the show when I was a child and I am anxiously awaiting how the movie turns out. I'm not expecting much out of it, though.
I know it's a remake but there only seems to be one character name that I know. Captain Jenko was played by Frederic Forrest for a few of the early episodes of the series before he quit the show and the character was killed off. In the new movie, Jenko is played by Channing Tatum.
Ice Cube also has a part in this film. I think he would have made a great Captain Adam Fuller but his character is listed as 'Capt. Dickson'.
Johnny Depp - the main star of the original - is also rumoured to have a walk-on part in the film. Whether this proves true is another thing.
