Dixie Carter YouShoot Live

I watched the Dixie Carter YouShoot Live DVD last night and it made me embarrassed to be a professional wrestling fan.

The ninety-minute interview was held in front of a live audience and featured email, YouTube video, and audience member questions to the TNA owner/president.

It wasn't the live audience or email questions that bothered me so much. Most of them, but not all, were genuine questions that needed decent answers. Whether Carter answered them honestly is debatable.

However, it was the YouTube video questions that annoyed me.

Why oh why do these YouTube wrestling fans need to embarrass themselves like this?

Each one had a lucha mask on bearing their obese frame and cut stupid questions which were disguised under lame promos.

I rolled my eyes at the first 'shooter' as he was cutting his promo from his toilet seat.

Yes - a toilet seat.

I am so glad I was watching this alone. If anyone else was with me I would have had to turn the thing off.

Wrestling fans have a bad rep as it is. This DVD magnified this stereotype.
