Tonight is WWE's latest pay-per-view offering - Money in the Bank.
It will be the first time that a PPV will be named after this gimmick match where a briefcase holding a WWE title contract will be hovering over the ring and each participant must fight each other in order to ascend the ladder to claim the prize.
The regular Money in the Bank match takes place at WrestleMania and the winner can cash in their contract at any point in the twelve months following their victory.
The gimmick has been well received and has led to furthering the careers of many of its winners.
I do have reservations about the matches tonight, though.
Out of the sixteen performers - in the two matches combined - five of them have already been world champion. There are others in these two matches that have already been in world title situations, too.
The magic of this gimmick is that it was given to someone fresh; I have a feeling that we'll see something stale by 3am UK time.
